Some of you already know me but just in case we haven’t met… my name is Dodi Abbott-Martinussen. I have been with North-West Regional Library for almost 3 years. Prior to moving to the Valley, I was the librarian in Norquay, Sk. for 15 years. I ran children’s programming since starting at Swan River and I am also the one that writes all the website and  Facebook posts. So yes, it is I that cannot spell, uses horrible grammar and misses words all together. But a lot of you also know, I am very creative, love to talk, love children and most of all….very passionate about libraries. Well, I am little sad to say I will be stepping back from children’s programing but excited to take the position of Head Librarian.
I would like to thank the North-West Regional Library Board for giving me this opportunity. My fellow librarians for believing in me. My husband for all your love and support. I am excited for this new adventure and look forward to working with both Swan River and Benito Branches.
